When we initially speak with clients most bring up television shows like Remington Steele ,The Rockford Files, Charlies Angels and our firms favorite Magnum PI. While it looks glamorous and the cases is always solved at the end (within one hour) a normal case its not like that. A professional firm does not break into homes, plant audio / video devices to catch spouses (spouses have an expected right of privacy in their home), or do anything else that is illegal.
First, a professional is just that a professional. He abides by Local,State and Federal statutes and conducts ethical investigations. A professional does not give legal advice, we are NOT attorneys, Speak to an attorney for legal advice. We are seekers of the truth and to that end, sometimes the results of our investigations are not what our client wants to hear. The only thing a professional investigator can guarantee is that the results will be produced using diligent, legal, expedient and the most economical means possible. Commonly private investigators assist companies, individuals and attorneys with services that can identify, locate, analyze and verify information about personal, financial or legal matters. From providing employment verification to investigating identity theft, harassment and infidelity, private investigators also perform surveillance and conduct interviews when assisting attorneys in case preparation of civil and criminal cases.
